Launching Knowledge Builder

To proper access the Knowledge Builder delivery engine you need to be familiar with the two different environments in which Knowledge Builder can exist: standalone or supporting the Experion PKS system install. Use the following table to review the two different Knowledge Builder start scenarios.

Knowledge Builder installed as	Description
Standalone	Not part of the Experion PKS system install. Knowledge Builder is invoked by: Desktop icon Start -> Programs -> Honeywell -> Knowledge Builder Tools Honeywell -> Knowledge Builder
Part of Experion PKS system	Knowledge Builder is invoked by: Desktop icon Start -> Programs -> Honeywell Experion PKS-> Knowledge Builder Tools Honeywell -> Knowledge Builder Configuration Studio
